12 Dec Carlos Yulo’s tour de force performance in the 30th SEAGames
World gymnastics champion Carlos “Caloy” Yulo embodied the country’s battlecry “We Win as One” by coming through with a tour de force performance in the 30th Southeast Asian Games in Manila, Philippines.
Yulo emerged the most bemedalled Filipino athlete in the biennial meet with two golds and five silvers.
After the SEAG, Yulo went straight to Japan to return to training as he prepares for the Olympics set in August this year. There, Yulo will shoot for nothing less than the Philippines’ first ever gold in the quadrennial Summer Games.
